Dalit organisations demand capital punishment to guilty in honor killing
Honor killing is a serious crime against human rights and justice.
Karnataka State Dalit Sangharsh Samiti, Karnataka State Dalit Student Union, and the Karnataka State Dalit Women’s Union (Revolutionary) State Committee condemned the honor killing of a pregnant woman in Inam Veerapur village. The organizations demanded capital punishment for the accused, who were identified as Prakash Gowda Patil, Preetam Gowda Patil, Arun Gowda Patil, Eerappa, and Mudakappa. They also urged the state government to provide compensation, a government job, and land to the victim's family.
