
Renowned scientist M P Parameswaran, 91, dies; mourned by CPI(M) leader
Eminent nuclear scientist and prolific writer M P Parameswaran, 91, died at his residence in Kerala on Tuesday. A founding figure of the Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad (KSSP), he promoted scientific awareness and developed the "Fourth World" theory on socialism. Born in 1935, he worked as a scientist at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre before joining KSSP. He authored several books and was expelled from the CPI(M) in 2004 for his theories. His death is mourned by many, including CPI(M) leader Pinarayi Vijayan.
