On Monday, a Delhi court acquitted Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief and BJP MP, of sexual harassment allegations filed by six women wrestlers. The court found the allegations rehearsed, planted, and politically motivated, noting two initial complainants turned hostile. Assistant secretary Vinod Tomar was also acquitted. The court cited similarities in allegations and delays in filing complaints as reasons for dismissing the case.
