Police taking all steps to curb ganja smuggling and use: SP

S. V. Madhava Reddy, Superintendent of Police for Parvatipuram-Manyam District, stated that the police department has established special teams to combat ganja smuggling and usage within the district. He emphasized a focus on AP-Odisha borders to curb the illicit trade, citing the seizure of 2800 kgs of ganja in recent months. Reddy also highlighted awareness campaigns aimed at educating residents about the detrimental effects of drug use. The goal is to achieve a completely drug-free district by 2026.
